Abstract

This study explored the real-life experiences of school principals in fostering parental and community involvement, identifying several challenges they faced. These obstacles included time constraints, communication barriers, limited resources, and negative perceptions of parents towards school activities. Additionally, some communities showed limited engagement and a lack of interest in school initiatives. An intervention plan is formulated to promote greater involvement in response to these challenges. These included fostering engagement through low-commitment initiatives, providing short-term volunteer opportunities, creating projects for individuals to find meaning in their work, and fostering collaboration through structured feedback and training. The study also highlighted the need for an inclusive and diverse educational environment that supports educators, families, and communities, ultimately contributing to student success and holistic development.
