Abstract
A child is a unique human being with basic societal rights. Promoting a meaningful life for children should always be the main concern of every teacher and of the government in which the child lives. This research work aimed to determine the effects of digital tools utilization on teacher education students in San Isidro Elementary School, San Vicente, San Lorenzo Ruis District. The researcher used the descriptive method of research to gather the needed information on the perception of respondents on the use of digital tools in teaching cognition to teacher education students. The study also explored the impact of these digital tools’ utilization on the learning of learners on the development of their comprehension, professional, and concept of print awareness and articulation awareness. This study concluded that respondents deemed that real objects, enlarged pictures, and flash cards are the most used digital tools in teaching cognition to teaching education students. As a result, this study recommends that instructors seek new strategies that are suited to the learners using digital tools for language.
