Significances and Implications to Members’ Socioeconomic Aspects of Pavia Administrator, Faculty, and Staff Multipurpose Cooperative (PAFSMPC) Services and Operations Amidst Pandemic

This research intended to study the impact of Pavia Administrator Faculty and Staff Multipurpose Cooperative (PAFSMPC) services and operations on its members in terms of socioeconomic aspects. Thus, this study used the descriptive survey method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used as the main instrument for data collection. Google forms were also utilized to obtain necessary data. Based on the findings of this study, it is concluded that while the impact of Pavia Administrator Faculty and Staff Multipurpose (PAFSMPC) services and operations affects the members’ socioeconomic status most of the time, there are still some areas that need to be improved to maximize member benefits. That despite the admirable assessment of its members, various programs could still be developed focusing on the specific socioeconomic area being studied. Moreover, it is found that PAFSMPC is effective in improving incomes, assisting educational needs, and alleviating socioeconomic status by way of property acquisition. Our findings support the emphasis of PAFSMPC on investment by providing loans to its members and in return earning income through dividends and patronage refund.
