Abstract
The study sought to ascertain the significant relationship between a school-based continuous professional development training program and teachers’ teaching outcomes. Teachers perceived the training program as “highly effective”. They also achieved “outstanding” teaching outcomes, and the school-based continuous professional development has a slight relationship to teachers’ teaching outcomes. The school-based professional development training program has helped teachers develop new knowledge and strengthen their teaching efficacy and outcomes. It was recommended that the school principal craft and design a more functional training program aligned with and unified with the regional and division-wide training program for teachers, and for accreditation for CPD credits from the Professional Regulation Commission.
