Abstract
Teacher motivation is persistently declining. This study aimed to derive the best-fit model explaining teacher motivation as influenced by adaptive leadership, school climate, and organizational commitment. Employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with 400 samples selected through quota sampling technique, results indicated organizational commitment had the strongest influence (Beta = 0.777, p < 0.001), followed by adaptive leadership (Beta = 0.132, p = 0.029), with school climate showing no significant impact (Beta = 0.078, p = 0.479). The best-fit model demonstrated excellent indices (CMIN/DF = 0.590; RMSEA = 0.000). Prioritizing strategies enhancing organizational commitment and adaptive leadership to boost teacher motivation and improve educational outcomes; and conducting further research to validate the assertion of this study are recommended.
