Abstract
The study sought to find out the influence of technology integration on learners’ academic performance. The descriptive-correlational research method was utilized, and the Statistical tools used in the study were mean and standard deviation to determine the extent of technology integration of teachers in teaching science, and frequency and percentages were used to determine the level of learners’ academic performance. Pearson's r was utilized to ascertain the significant relationship between the learners’ academic performance and technology integration in teaching Science. It was also found out that the majority of the learners obtained a very satisfactory academic performance when technology was integrated in teaching Science, while an insignificant number of one (1) learner did not meet expectations. It was also found that technology integration in teaching Science signifies a moderate correlation to learners’ academic performance. As a summary, it was recommended that school heads endlessly encourage teachers to continuously utilize and integrate technology in teaching, not only in content subjects like Science, Math, and English language, but also in all learning areas to help stimulate learners’ learning engagement, participation, and involvement. Teachers must always use their initiative and creativity to make learning more fun and meaningful to learners through the integration of technology to promote learning engagement in interactive learning activities.
