Abstract
This qualitative study explored the lived experiences of office administrators in maintaining fairness in workplace diversity. The research aimed to understand the challenges office administrators face, the coping mechanisms they employ, and the insights they gain from their daily professional responsibilities. Using purposive sampling, eight office administrators participated in the study, four from the private sector and four from the public sector. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The findings revealed that office administrators developed a clear understanding of their roles through hands-on tasks such as managing office records, coordinating schedules, supervising staff activities, implementing company rules, assisting in decision-making, and ensuring smooth communication between employees and management. This practical experience helped them strengthen their responsibilities and maintain fairness in workplace diversity. Overall, the study concludes that the lived experiences of office administrators reflect the importance of professional competence, resilience, and dedication. Their journey involves managing diverse responsibilities, supporting both employees and management, and ensuring fairness in workplace diversity. This shows that the role of an office administrator is not only about completing daily tasks but also about contributing meaningfully to the success and harmony of the organization.
