Utilization of Social Media in Teaching and Teachers’ Performance

This study aimed to determine the Utilization of Social Media and The Teachers’ Teaching Performance in Cabanglasan 1 District, Division of Bukidnon, for the School Year 2023-2024. Based on the data gathered, the significant findings of the study are the following: The teachers were oftentimes utilizing of social media in teaching in terms of Mobilizing Community Engagement, Enhanced Transparency and Accountability in School Initiative, Impact of social media on Parental Involvement, Challenges of Implementing PPA’s in the Digital Age, and Sustaining Long-Term Engagement beyond PPA’s implementation Week The teachers’ performance among the elementary schools of Cabanglasan 1 District were outstanding. There was a significant relationship between the frequency of utilization of social media in teaching in terms of Mobilizing Community Engagement, Enhanced Transparency and Accountability in School Initiative, Impact of social media on Parental Involvement, Challenges of Implementing PPA’s in the Digital Age, and Sustaining Long-Term Engagement Beyond PPA’s implementation Week and the teachers’ performance. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are offered: Teachers may strengthen the utilization of social media in teaching from often to always in terms of Mobilizing Community Engagement, Enhanced Transparency and Accountability in School Initiative, Impact of social media on Parental Involvement, Challenges of Implementing PPA’s in the Digital Age, and Sustaining Long-Term Engagement Beyond PPA’s implementation Week by making use of vacant time where the teachers have no other work to be done. School Head may sustain their outstanding teachers’ performance among the elementary schools of Cabanglasan 1 District by keeping and maintaining their good performances and best practices among the Key Reform Area (KRA) under IPCRF tool with validated and scrutinized means of verification (MOV) as a support.
