The Extent of Teachers’ Satisfaction in Modular Learning and Its Effect to the Learners’ Academic Achievement in Araling Panlipunan

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the extent of the teachers’ satisfaction in the modular learning in terms of learning contents, instructional design and organization, instructional quality of text and visuals, instructional quality of assessment, community linkages, and professional engagement, and the learners’ academic achievement in the Malaybalay City District 1, Division of Malaybalay City for the school year 2021-2022. Based on the data gathered, the major findings are the following: the extent of the teachers’ satisfaction in the modular learning was a very highly satisfied in terms of learning contents, instructional design and organization, instructional quality of text and visuals, instructional quality of assessment, community linkages and professional engagement in the Malaybalay City District 1, Division of Malaybalay City for the school year 2021-2022. There was an outstanding grade among the learners in their Araling Panlipunan subject in the Malaybalay City District I, Division of Malaybalay City. There was no significant relationship between the extent of the teachers’ satisfaction with the modular learning in terms of learning contents, instructional design and organization, instructional quality of text and visuals, instructional quality of assessment, community linkages, and professional engagement, and the learners’ academic achievement in Araling Panlipunan in the Malaybalay City District 1, Division of Malaybalay City. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are hereby offered: Teachers may sustain their very highly extent of satisfaction in the modular learning in terms of learning contents, instructional design and organization, instructional quality of text and visuals, instructional quality of assessment, community linkages and professional engagement by continued implementing the quality learning resources as these provides adequate and sufficient learning contents which meet the learning goals of the Learning Continuity Plan in times of pandemic in the Malaybalay City District 1, Division of Malaybalay City for the school year 2021-2022.
