Abstract
The study sought to determine the influence of parent-child relationship to pupils’ childhood development skills. Results show that parents extraordinarily develop a “high extent” child relationship; pupils’ childhood development of skills was found to be “slightly advanced developed” and it was found out that parent-child relationship promotes pupils’ childhood development skills. It was recommended that the school head and teachers should stimulate and encourage collaboration with parents in order to create and provide more parent-child interactive learning which emphasized the development of life-long skills. Lastly, an empirical research on the factors that influence parent-child cohesiveness should likewise be conducted to explore further the enormous contribution of parent-child relationship to pupils’ childhood development skills.
