Based on the data gathered, the pupils demonstrated a very high extent of practice of their preferred study habits in terms of attitude towards study, environmental, motivating, reading comprehension, study skills, and time management factors. The pupils’ academic achievement in Araling Panlipunan was generally distributed as average or satisfactory. The findings further revealed a significant relationship between the extent of practice of pupils’ preferred study habits and their academic achievement in Araling Panlipunan. Based on the findings and conclusions, pupils may sustain their very high extent of practice of preferred study habits with the help of their parents and teachers to improve their academic grades in Araling Panlipunan. Teachers may extend assistance to pupils’ low-point areas or weaknesses that need focused attention and prioritization, while parents may collaborate with teachers in continuously nurturing pupils’ study habits at home and in school. School heads may also consider rewarding mechanisms for teachers who extend efforts in guiding and facilitating learners in developing and sustaining their preferred study habits.
