Abstract

In the evolving landscape of education, access to accurate, timely, and relevant information has become central to students' academic progression. This investigates the impact of equitable access to educational data and technology empowerment on the academic progression of students in selected public schools in Batangas City. It examines how the availability, accessibility, and effective use of data and technology tools influence learners’ academic development within the context of public education. Correlational-Quantitative Research Design is a systematic approach used to determine the relationship or association between two or more quantifiable variables without manipulating them. The study involves students from Grades 7 to 12 in public secondary schools in Batangas City. The study concluded that equitable access to digital tools and reliable internet connectivity significantly influences academic progression in public schools. Students who had consistent access to learning technologies performed better academically and showed more initiative in completing learning tasks. Teachers, likewise, reported improved engagement and productivity among learners who had access to digital platforms for research, communication, and collaboration. The study recommends that local and national educational authorities prioritize not only the provision of technological devices and internet access, but also sustained training for teachers and learners in digital literacy. Moreover, professional development programs should focus on optimizing online tools, cybersecurity, and blended instructional strategies to harness the potential of digital education fully. It is also essential to strengthen partnerships with community stakeholders and private sector donors to ensure sustainable access to digital infrastructure. Lastly, schools should implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the real-time impact of technology on academic performance.
