Abstract

This study aims to determine the Awareness and Implementation of the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Program regarding Resiliency in the Division of Malaybalay City School Year 2024-2025. Specifically, this study aimed to answer the following questions: a) what is the level of awareness in School Disaster Risk Reduction Management among teachers in terms of policy and plans, human resources, programs and activities, risk assessment and vulnerability, emergency preparedness and response and partner of stakeholder agreement, b) what is the level of Implementation of School Disaster Risk Reduction Management among teachers based on safe learning facilities, school disaster management and school safety procedures c) what is the level of teachers' resiliency in School Disaster Risk Reduction Management considering the areas of physical condition, institutional issues and health and hygiene, d) is there a significant relationship between the teacher's awareness, implementation of School Disaster Reduction Management Program and their resiliency. It uses a survey questionnaire adapted from Cresencio (2019), Yabut (2023), and Nakum et al. (2022), and uses a Likert five-point scale. To determine the level of awareness and implementation of school Disaster Risk Reduction Management weighted mean and Standard Deviation was used. To determine the significant relationship between independent variables and dependent variables, the Pearson r Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient was used. Based on the data gathered, teachers agreed on the awareness of SDRRM and interpreted it as highly aware, while teachers' implementation level on SDRRM was highly implemented and interpreted most of the time. Teachers are resilient in terms of resiliency. In finding the significant relationship, the null hypothesis, that there is no significant relationship between awareness, implementation, and resiliency, is rejected.
