Abstract
The study sought to determine the influence of teachers' career contentment on teachers' teaching performance. A descriptive-correlational research method was utilized, and the Statistical tools used in the study were mean and standard deviation to determine the extent of teachers' career contentment in terms of interpersonal relations, policy and management, and working conditions, and frequency and percentages were used to determine the profile of teachers' teaching performance, respectively. Pearson's r was used to assess the relationship between teachers' career contentment and teaching performance. Findings revealed that teachers were satisfied with their interpersonal relations with fellow teachers, the school policy and management, as well as their working conditions. It was also found that the majority of the teachers achieved outstanding teaching performance. Further, it was found out that school policy and school heads' management styles significantly influenced teachers' teaching performance. In summary, it was recommended that school heads continually develop teachers' interpersonal relations and improve teachers' work conditions to create a school environment supportive of teachers' career development and content. Teachers are encouraged to develop and strengthen their interpersonal relationships with fellow teachers and improve their working conditions to ensure effective and efficient teaching performance.
