Abstract
The rising demand for versatile professionals in the business sector underscores the need to equip students with core skills in marketing strategies, organizational management, entrepreneurship, and business development. The study explored the correlation of ABM students’ marketing strategy skills, organizational management abilities, entrepreneurial capabilities, and business development aptitude. It utilized a descriptive-correlational and causal research design and was conducted at Liceo de Cagayan University with 386 Grade 12 ABM students selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Findings revealed that students preferred the Strategic Learning Approach(M=4.24), indicating a tendency toward thoughtful planning in business tasks. In organizational management, Cultural Awareness and Influence (both M=4.13) and Communication (M=4.06) highlighted students’ learning of interpersonal and cultural aspects of leadership. Entrepreneurial capabilities were strongest in Non-Cognitive Skills (M=4.01), such as resilience and emotional intelligence (M=4.13), indicating that personal attributes are valued alongside technical know-how. For business development, Adaptability(M=4.11) and Entrepreneurial Mindset stood out, though variability in responses suggested uneven skill development. Statistical analysis confirmed significant correlations among the variables. Entrepreneurial Capabilities, Organizational Management, and Strategic Learning Approaches emerged as strong predictors of Business Development Aptitude. The study concludes that enhancing students’ business potential requires more than technical instruction. Most notably, Entrepreneurial Abilities, Organizational Management, and even deeper learning strategies emerged as key drivers, highlighting that success in business goes beyond knowledge and into mindset, influence, and cultural understanding. These findings support the need for holistic business education focused on both cognitive skills and personal development.
