Abstract
This dissertation explores the educational philosophy of Holy Cross College of Carigara, Incorporated, through the lens of the fundamental teachings and way of life exemplified by Blessed Maria Theresia Bonzel. Her principles serve as the foundation for the institution's educational philosophy, aligning with Catholic educational identity. This study examines the key teachings of Blessed Maria Theresia, including fidelity to the Gospel way of life, living with purpose, recognizing interconnectedness, valuing stewardship, and promoting holistic living. By employing qualitative methodologies—such as a thorough analysis of archival materials and interviews with administrators—this research highlights how these teachings manifest in the school's overall educational practices. The findings suggest that integrating Blessed Maria Theresia Bonzel's teachings not only shapes the institution's identity but also enhances the educational experience of its students, preparing them to become compassionate and competent leaders in society. Ultimately, this dissertation contributes to a deeper understanding of Catholic education's mission and the transformative impact of Blessed Maria Theresia Bonzel's legacy on contemporary educational practices.
