Impact of 21st Century Skills Instruction and Academic Achievement of Learners

Abstract

This study explored the impact of 21st-century skills instruction and learners' academic achievement in San Fernando I District, Division of Bukidnon, School Year (SY) 2024-2025. The researcher utilized a self-made survey questionnaire to gather the data needed. It was pilot-tested and validated before the launch. The respondents were the San Fernando I District, Division of Bukidnon, School Year (SY) 2024-2025 teachers. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, frequency count, percentage, and Pearson r Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The study's findings were as follows: There was a significant long-term impact of 21st-century skills instruction regarding information literacy, media literacy, computer literacy, internet literacy, and digital communication. Most of the learners fall within the "85–89" range, indicating that most learners demonstrated a Very Satisfactory level of comprehension. There was a significant relationship between the impact of 21st-century skills instruction and the learners' academic achievement.
