Program Self-Evaluation on Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) towards ALCUCOA Accreditation

Abstract

This action research aimed to preliminarily evaluate through self-survey the status of BTVTEd- CCT program offered in Aroroy Municipal College towards accreditation by the ALCUCOA. Ten-areas of evaluation tool was used by eight respondents during a survey conducted last November 2023. The results showed that the program has a preliminary self-survey overall rating of 1.85 (Fair). In relation, there are few implemented best practices in the program. Also, the total number of needed documents, information, and exhibits towards accreditation is 284/438. The preliminary actions recommended includes implementation of faculty manual, conduct of tracer study, and establishment of extension services office.
