The respondents of the study were the 117 newly hired teachers and 9 principals identified through purposive random sampling technique. The data responses were gathered through online questionnaire and triangulate it through FGD to deepen the result. Mixed method was used to determine the effects of the variables. Descriptive correlation and regression analysis was used to interpret and analyze the data which presents the strengths and significant effects and its impact. The findings of the study claimed that the supervisory techniques of the principals have a descriptive interpretation of “Very High” while the work performance of newly hired teachers obtained a “High” descriptive interpretation based on the correlated and regression analysis. The study also revealed that the level of principals’ supervisory techniques towards the work performance of the newly hired teachers is correlated to the teaching experiences to varying extent but not significant. The findings revealed that there is no significant effects between the principals’ supervisory techniques and work performance of the newly hired teachers. Thus, principals may continuously supervise and scaffold all newly hired teachers to improve their work performance for the attainment of the department’s vision and mission.
