Abstract
This study explored the parents’ hindsight, insight, and foresight in Hospitality Management considering if the program is costly or worthwhile for their children. This study anchored on Human Capital Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Coping Theory. The legal basis of the study is rooted from Republic Act No. 11908. This study used a non-sequential research design called Triangulation. 23 parents’ participated the study. This study used the adapted instrument, which went through face and content validity. The research environment of the study is concentrated in Moalboal. Appropriate statistical tools were used to treat the data. The average weighted mean of 4.77 (SD=0.73) suggests that parents are always involved in their children’s whereabouts in college. There were six emerging themes found after analyzing the data. These are (1) Professional Advancement, (2) Additional Financial Burden, (3) Rendered Knowledge, (4) Expected Job, (5) Non-stop Motivation, and (6) Tangerine Effect. These themes provide a clear picture of the parents’ hindsight, insight, and foresight. It is highly recommended to utilize the proposed output of the study which is an action plan.
