Abstract
Institutions face multitude of uncertainties in today’s environment, especially in the education sector. This study aimed to determine the influence of strategic planning, organizational learning, and school culture to the productivity of heads-of office in private higher education institutions in Cagayan de Oro City to be equipped with best models in dealing with stakeholders. The study used descriptive correlational and causal-comparative design. 170 respondents are currently holding key positions in the selected private higher education institutions in Cagayan de Oro City. A researcher’s made survey questionnaire was the tool used for data gathering to identify the level of influence, performance, and engagement towards productivity. Results revealed that the identified levels were highly influential, performed, and engaged, respectively. When dealing with productivity of the heads-of-offices, it showed that hypothesized model 3 is the best fit. It is concluded that school culture and organizational learning still play important roles in the educational institutions and has emerged as a research subject which requires detailed examination. It is recommended that concerned individuals may lead to develop career opportunities, provide best strategies for employee opportunities, and build workforce connections into the general higher education institution system leading to realistic career opportunities based on workforce needs.
