Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much knowledge there was and how many procedures there were about food safety among Midsayap's street sellers. A descriptive-correlational design was used, with data analysis done using Spearman's Rho and questionnaires. The results showed that although the suppliers needed to practice consistently, they were aware of the issue. Though they were aware of the fundamentals of food safety, their methods differed greatly. To guarantee street food safety in Midsayap, the report advises municipal authorities to give food safety laws priority and to impose more stringent inspections.
