Dr. Abdul Qadeer serves as a Postdoc fellow at the Institute of Infectious Diseases and Pathogen Biology, School of Medicine, Tongji University Shanghai, China. Dr. Qadeer has a diverse educational background and expertise in the field of veterinary medicine. Dr. Qadeer earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan, his M.Phil in Clinical Medicine from the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan, and a Ph.D. in Preventive Veterinary Science from the Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences, Beijing. Dr. Qadeer has expertise in clinical medicine, molecular parasitology, and molecular biology. Specifically, Dr. Qadeer’s research is primarily focused on various aspects of Schistosoma functional molecules, LncRNAs, and miRNA role in Schistosoma japoncium viability and survival, Disease diagnosis and control strategies for protozoal, and helminthic diseases, etc, Use of herbal plant extract as an alternative to anthelminthic. His research contributions have significantly impacted the field, emphasizing the importance of proactive measures to safeguard animal well-being.
