Abstract
This research investigates the employability of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program graduates from the 2022-2024 academic year. The research seeks to address a knowledge vacuum on these graduates' career outcomes by focusing on their employment status, job positions, industries, kinds of employment, years of service, and workspaces. In descriptive research, data from a questionnaire sent to 48 BSOA graduates were utilized. According to the statistics, the majority of graduates are employed, mainly in the private sector of the Philippines, with many holding long-term work. However, the research discloses that the majority of the graduates were young, unmarried women, which may restrict the results' application to other groups. The survey underscores how vital communication skills are to employers. It also identifies development opportunities, such as strengthening corporate collaborations for hands-on experience, introducing soft skills training into the curriculum, and encouraging entrepreneurship. According to the findings, program improvement is dependent on a constant examination of graduate outcomes. Future studies should examine the employment experiences of male graduates, alums’ long-term career choices, and the variables that influence career development. This research shows how effectively NORSU prepares its BSOA graduates for the current workforce and underlines the need for continuous growth to fulfill industry needs.
