Abstract
The primary purpose of the study was to analyze the poverty profile of households in Magtuod, Maa community in Davao City. Correspondence Analysis (CA), a descriptive exploratory technique suited to analyze the poverty profile of the community. Survey questionnaires were administered to 15 respondents. The main variable of the study is the Human capital, Skills, Physical Capital, Financial Capital and Social Capital. Based on the results of the following conclusions were drawn. The study on Magtuod Community capital-based ownership provides an overview of the essential traits of the recipient’s profile in terms of human, physical, financial, and social capital. Much assistance the College of Business Administration has extended to the community over the past five years, but several critical issues remain. For instance, the dismal human capital profile of the community is evident in the very high level of unemployment remains. Also, the level of skills is the most prominent feature that relates to human capital. The accessibility to water for drinking and domestic is the dominant household trait that strongly differentiates from other households. Finally, there is a certain level of heterogeneity among households in the community in terms of their capital ownership.
