Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of the use of ChatGPT among college students across all programs in Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology. The study utilized quantitative research design in a descriptive-comparative approach in the process of collecting and analyzing numerical data. A sample of 257 randomly selected students answered the survey. Also, this study utilized stratified random sampling where the researcher divided the population into subgroups (strata) based on some relevant characteristics, such as age, gender, or academic performance, and then selecting a random sample from each stratum or subgroup. The study utilized adopted questionnaires for the ChatGPT that is appropriate for the context of the study. In addition, the data was analyzed through the use of mean to evaluate the gathered data and null hypothesis to assess the probability of observing of the data under specific assumption. Further, the Likert Scale was used as basis in describing the level of the use of ChatGPT and the respondents would respond by checking a point or circling a number. Results showed that the highest frequency on the use of ChatGPT was for the age of 19 respondents. While the highest frequency goes to the female respondents in terms of sex. Results also revealed that there is a significant difference on the levels on the use of ChatGPT in terms of age, sex and programs among college students.
