Abstract
The study focused on describing the observable phenomena of experience, personal insights and recommendations of Elementary teachers. Moreover, the aim of the study was to help elementary teachers in dealing with overparenting in schools. The study utilized a qualitative research design, specifically phenomenological in design, wherein there were 14 participants who were Private Elementary Teachers around here in Maniki, Kapalong Davao del Norte. It was found out that in based of their experience, several themes were extracted based on the responses of the informants, such as struggle in dealing with various complaints, difficulty in addressing what overprotective parents wants to their children and battling in fulfilling the various responsibilities as a teacher. Insights revealed from their strategies and techniques this included employing effective personal strategies to deal with helicopter parents, implementing school and classroom rules and regulation then conducting parent orientation every first day of the school year. Lastly for their suggestions and recommendations revealed themes like the value of strengthening collaboration and patience between teacher and parent, the importance of communication between parents, teachers and department of education then the last is foster good association between school and stakeholders.
