Mainstreaming of Indigenous People Practices on the Development of Instructional Materials and the  Learning Style of IP Learners in Division of Quezon: Basis for Alternative Learning Delivery for IPED

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the extent of mainstreaming of indigenous people practices to instructional materials and the learning style of IP learners in Division of Quezon. It utilized the qualitative method using questionnaire. The researcher conceptualized each item in the questionnaire according to research questions in order to get the best possible answers needed in this study. The process before the mainstreaming of indigenous people practices to instructional materials and the learning style was that, the it was carefully observed by the respondents and established through systematic planning in which every step taken was carefully done. The findings of this study revealed that Indigenous people's practices are mainstreamed into the Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) curriculum regarding family, Health, Nutrition, Sanitation, and Hygiene has a verbal interpretation of 'To a Less Mainstreamed. The study found out that there is a significant relationship between the extent to which indigenous people's practices are mainstreamed into the IPED curriculum and the learning style of indigenous people in the Division of Quezon is partially rejected.
