Abstract

This study investigated the impact of merging procurement and canvassing offices within a university workplace, focusing on operational efficiency, communication flow, and supplier relationships. Using a convergent mixed‑methods design, survey data from 31 respondents were complemented by qualitative interviews to capture both numerical trends and experiential insights. Findings revealed that integration improved workflow organization, reduced delays, clarified procedures, and minimized duplication of tasks. Communication flow was enhanced through faster information sharing, clearer instructions, and better coordination, while supplier relationships became more consistent and transparent. Challenges were also noted, including role adjustments, communication gaps, and resistance to change. The study concludes that integration yields positive outcomes when supported by clear communication, training, teamwork, and management support, offering valuable implications for administrative reforms in higher education institutions.
