Abstract
This research, still in development, studies the fruitful relations between body, writing and desire investigating homo eroticism, identity and transvestism in the narrative fabric of the novel The unknown (1940), by the Brazilian writer Lucio Cardoso. These themes are linked, in the narrative, by discourses of interdiction and transgression.
