Level of Political Awareness Among Teachers and Their Teaching Performance

This study aimed to determine the level of political awareness in terms of political consciousness, political socialization, and teacher effectiveness, and the teachers’ teaching performance in San Fernando District 2, Division of Bukidnon, for the school year 2023-2024. Based on the data gathered, the significant findings of the study are the following: There was a very high level of political awareness in terms of political consciousness, political socialization, and teacher effectiveness among the teachers in San Fernando 2, Division of Bukidnon, during the school year 2023-2024. The teacher’s teaching performance in San Fernando 2 District was outstanding during the school year 2023-2024. There was no significant relationship between the level of political awareness in terms of political consciousness, political socialization, and teacher effectiveness among the teachers and their teaching performance during the school year 2023-2024. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are offered: School Heads may sustain their teacher very high on political awareness in terms of the political consciousness, political socialization, and teacher effectiveness among the teachers in San Fernando 2, Division of Bukidnon, during the School Year 2023-2024. They may monitor this condition with less supervision now. Teachers may strengthen their good teaching performance by continuing their good practices from their KRA of their IPCRF, maintaining their very high awareness of the political matters/ variables. DepEd Officials may give their support system to the teachers who show high political awareness and monitor/ validate their teaching performance thoroughly by carefully scrutinizing their means of verification as a support of their performance, to ensure that the teachers really deserve and are worthy of their performance rating.
