A alfabetização como processo discursivo propõe um desafio político-pedagógico para o processo de aprendizagem da língua materna, uma vez que não se ensina ou não se aprende simplesmente a ler e escrever. Aprende-se uma forma de linguagem, ou, mais especificamente, uma forma de interação. Partindo desse pressuposto, ousa-se acreditar que a criança é capaz de escrever histórias, relatos, notícias, anúncios e até mesmo textos considerados complexos como os da ordem do argumentar. Como afirma Bakhtin (1992), aprendemos as formas da língua ao mesmo tempo em que aprendemos a construir e a compreender os enunciados. Portanto, é do enunciado completo que se parte, assumindo nas atividades escolares uma finalidade global maior que é fazer sentido para as crianças. Assim, os textos argumentativos das crianças em fase de alfabetização apresentam sujeitos diante de situações variadas, nas quais deparam com questões controversas e com posicionamentos divergentes em relação a elas, diante dos quais elas devem tomar uma posição e justificá-la para o outro.Literacy as a discursive process proposes a political-educational challenge to the process of learning the mother language, since teaching and learning how to read and write is not a simple process. According to Bakhtin (1992), we learn forms of language while we learn how to build and to understand the statements. Therefore, the school activities should be based on the complete statement, assuming that these activities aim to make sense for children. Thus, children’s argumentative texts in the literacy phase show individuals dealing with different situations in which they face controversial issues and different positions in relation to these issues, so they should take a position and justify it to the other.
