Abstract

These observations suggest that during the prepubertal period PCOSd exhibit abnormal adiponectin levels, independently of BMI. Moreover, leptin and adiponectin may be related to metabolic and reproductive abnormalities observed in PCOSd during the early stages of sexual development.
