AUDIOVISUAL RESOURCE FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOM: ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL OF A TRAINING MODEL
ABSTRACT
The usage of the graphic and digital audiovisual resources in Education that is been applied in the present, have displayed in countries such as Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The analysis and justification of the topics related to the teaching of the media means following the initiative of Spain and Portugal, the international protagonists of some university educational models was made. Due to the extension and focalization in information technology and web communication through the Internet, the audiovisual aid as a technological instrument have gained utility as a dynamic and conciliatory source with special characteristics that differs it form the other sources that belong to the audiovisual aids eco system. As a result of this research; two application means are proposed: A. Proposal of the iconic and audiovisual language as a learning objective and/or as a curriculum subject in the university syllabus that will include workshops for the development of the audiovisual document, digital photography and the audiovisual production. B. Usage of the audiovisual resources as education means which will imply a pre- training process to the teachers in the activities recommended for the teachers and students. As a consequence, suggestions that allow implementing both means of academic actions are presented.
