The title compound, C24H22N2O, crystallizes with two independent molecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. The phenyl, p-tolyl and p-methoxyphenyl rings are inclined to the pyrazole ring by 42.5 (2), 17.68 (19) and 52.20 (19)°, respectively, in molecule A, and by 39.5 (2), 40.77 (19) and 59.76 (18)°, respectively, in molecule B. In the asymmetric unit, the pyrarole ring of molecule A makes a dihedral angle of 3.7 (2)° with that of molecule B. In the crystal, the two independent molecules are linked to each other by a C—H...O hydrogen bond.
