Policing is one of the final filter mechanisms in order to avoid the impact of globalizationentering Indonesia. Good policing can anticipate the dynamicof strategic environment before the bad impact happen in the society. Therefore, it is important for police to be able to conduct analyses on comprehensive strategic policing based on sectorial. For example, globalization, economy, and terrorism have specific chains and/or relationship pattern, in which the development influences the livelihood of Indonesia society. Indonesia Police has role to protect, assist, and serve society by giving priority on preventive functions before negative impact caused by the changes of strategic environmentoccurred.
