Article AbstractBipolar disorder is a chronic condition with a tremendous economic burden, yet the majority of patients do not receive quality care. Organized treatment programs that employ features such as care coordinators and patient and family psychoeducation have been shown to improve clinical outcomes for patients with bipolar disorder.
