El presente trabajo propone una interpretación religiosa de los depósitos de recursos vegetales existentes en algunos yacimientos andaluces en cueva neolíticos. La carbonización intencionada de los citados recursos, la existencia de hogares y capas de carbón en sus contextos estratigráficos y la presencia de arte rupestre en sus inmediaciones permiten pensar en ofrendas rituales más que en un simple almacenamiento de recursos alimenticios.

This paper proposes a religious interpretation about the deposits of charred vegetable resources found in Neolithic caves of Andalusia. The intentional burning activities of these deposits together with the existence of fireplaces and carbon layers and the presence of rock art in the vicinity suggest that these remains formed part of a ritual ceremony instead of stored food deposits.
