Abstract
Communicating beyond borders, specially in the field of advertising has nowadays become a common practice. This paper aims at addressing major challenges for multinational companies trying to sell their products and services in other countries. For that purpose we have chosen Spanish and US print advertising for a target group with high socio cultural similarities, but that speaks different languages and lives at both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The focus of this work lies on explaining communication strategies implemented by multinationals that range from standardization to different types of adaptation required.
