Abstract
Cesarean section is one of the most common obstetric procedure in worldwide. In addition, the increasing increased rate of cesarean section has been observed in recent studies. Maternal and fetal mortalitiy and morbidity associated with cesarean section is an important health problem in all over the world. The primary obstetric indication for cesarean section is previous cesarean section. Vaginal birth after cesarean section can be alternative delivery method for women who have previous cesarean section. But, the risks of this type delivery must be carefully evaluated. As a result, increasing rate of cesarean section can be decreased with vaginal birth after cesarean section. [Archives Medical Review Journal 2014; 23(4.000): 623-635]
