Abstract

The objective of study was to know the effect of STAD methods and moti­vation achievement on the learning achievements. The subject in this research was student class of XII automotive the  Vocational High School at power train study. This research used quasy experiment. Results of the ANAVA indicated that (1), there was a significant difference on the learning achievements between the STAD with conven­tional teaching, (2) there was a significant difference on the learning achieve­ments between the groups in hight and low of achievement motivation, and (3) there was a significant interaction on the learning achievements between learning method and level of achievement motivation. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembel­ajar­an STAD dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMK Jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Bidang Studi Sistem Pemindah Tenaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimental semu. Hasil ANAVA menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok STAD dengan konvensional, (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signi­fi­kan antara kelompok motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) ada inter­aksi hasil belajar yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran STAD dan motivasi ber­prestasi.
