On the basis of the description of the general situation in the domain of music criticism, the author proposes the solution of the problems existing in this field by carrying out non­standard approaches of the music-critical activity as a whole and of the object to be appreciated in particular, bringing out as the fundamental principle the personal oriented perspective in the interpretation of musical events.
