Due to the environmental conditions of the semiarid territory, livestock has constituted one of the main economic activities and plays an important role in regional economic system. The municipality of Caturité - PB is characterized by the predominance of cattle livestock as the main productive activity. However, it was found that the actions have been ad hoc and are not integrated into a broader development project that will be sustainable.
