In the article the features of implementation of technologies of «electronic government» in Ukraine are shown up. The author proved the necessity of bringing in of the best practices of «electronic government» to the system of state administration. It is found out, that an electronic management today is wider implemented in public and local self-government authorities in Ukraine. In particular, in Ukraine the National center of е-government for assistance in implementation of information and communication technologies to everyday practice of public authorities in Ukraine is created. With support of the State agency of Ukraine on Science, Innovations and Informatization, State enterprise the «State center of information resources of Ukraine» and Program of development of the UNO in Ukraine the portal of knowledge is created. The author also gives examples of development of electronic government in some of regions of Ukraine, that testifies the efficiency of electronic government as an instrument quality improvement of all types of state services, development of direct dialogue between government and citizens. Author comes to conclusion about the necessity of improvement of normatively-legal acts for this sphere, that it is necessary clearly to define an aim, tactics and strategy of realization of electronic management. For this purpose it is necessary to define tasks, practical steps and instruments of realization of such actions. Considering the annual improvement of conditions for implementation of electronic government, practical realization of е-government in Ukraine is an attainable goal in the near-term outlook.
