This article presents some theoretical reflections produced in the range of the Linha de Pesquisa Estado e Poder (State and Power Research Line) to analyze the production and reproduction of the bourgeois hegemony, especially the role played by many private apparatus of hegemony constituted by the dominant groups to produce the consensus. It aims to discuss the trajectory and the hegemonic role played by one of the most important private apparatus constituted by the local bourgeoisie, the Associação Comercial e Industrial de Marechal Cândido Rondon/ACIMACAR (Commercial and Industrial Association of Marechal Cândido Rondon)
