The research goal was to investigate cytokine profile (IL-1p, 11_-1ра, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-a and INF-у) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (OOPD). The data of decreasing of anti-inflammatory IL-4 and increasing of proinflammatory cytokines in patients with OOPD were worked out. Inclusion of domestic immunomodulator of immunovenin in standard therapy of OOPD permitted to decrease concentration of proinflammatory cytokines and to increase the level of anti-inflammatory IL-4
