<p align="justify">This work showed a clear and including vision how the executive secretary coexists with the stress excess in the work without getting sick physically and psychologically. It was presented definitions for terms like stress, emotion and psychosomatic. Moreover, it was emphasized the most common psychosomatic´s diseases in the organization scope, such as, Depression, Syndrome of Panic and Syndrome of Burnot. For more reality and veracity, it was done a research to verify the stress levels of the executive secretaries and how they deal with pressure and requirements from the modern world without acquiring diseases. With the research´s result it was possible identify some points that can help the professional to have a physical and mental life healthful. Also, the company and immediate bosses can contribute for the well-being of their employees. Finally, it was available some suggestions so that the stress excess does not harm the social and professional life of the executive secretary.</p>
<p align="justify">O presente trabalho mostrou uma visão clara e abrangente de como o profissional de secretariado executivo convive com o excesso de estresse no trabalho sem adoecer física e psicologicamente. Descreveram-se as definições dos termos estresse, emoção e psicossomática. Além disso, foram destacadas algumas das doenças psicossomáticas mais comuns no âmbito organizacional, tais como, depressão, síndrome do pânico e síndrome de Burnot. Para maior realidade e veracidade, realizou-se pesquisa de campo com a finalidade de verificar qual o índice de estresse dos profissionais de secretariado executivo e de que maneira estes lidam com as pressões e exigências do mundo moderno para evitar o adoecimento. Com o resultado da pesquisa, procurou-se identificar os pontos que podem auxiliar o profissional a ter uma vida física e mental saudável e de que modo a organização e os superiores imediatos podem contribuir para o bem-estar do colaborador.</p>
