Having as referentia theoretician the Analysis of the French Speech, we analyze some discursive strategies used by the Caixa Econômica Federal, in the constitution of the discursive event 145 years of the Box, where if it establishes a narrow relation enters the history of Brazil and the history of the Box, as half of if reaching a supposed national identity. We reflect on the presence of (soon) the mark “Box 145 years” in the layer of the first unit of 2006 of the magazine printed Gente da Caixa (2006), the speech that folloies it, “This History is ours”, and the layer of the Agenda of 2006, also distributed for the Caixa to its employees and other information propagated in site external of the Caixa, demonstrating that this institution-company an event made of its 145 years description- discursive, which if relates with previous discursive events, as the V Centenarian of Brazil.
