Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menyelidiki kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal dan (2) menguji keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep sains. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari 10 fase antara lain mengumpulkan informasi, perancangan penelitian, pengembangan produk awal, melakukan uji coba pendahuluan lapangan, melakukan revisi, melakukan uji coba lapangan utama, melakukan revisi,me­lakukan uji lapangan operasional, melakukan revisi produk akhir, dan diseminasikan dan implementasi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran integrated science berbasis kearifan lokal layak dalam meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep. Kelayakan ini juga didukung dengan hasil uji beda antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses dan pemahaman konsep sains yang signifikan antara dua kelas tersebut dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, integrated science, kearifan lokal, kepedulian lingkungan, keterampilan proses, pemahaman konsep sains.   The Development of Learning Kit of Integrated Science Based on Local Wisdom   Abstract This research aimed to: (1) investigate the feasibility, and (2) verify the effectiveness of integrated science learning kit based on local wisdom in improving environmental care, science process skill and concept understanding. This research used research and development (R&D) of Borg & Gall model with stages including collect the information, design the research, develop draft of the product, preliminary field test, revision of the first draft, main field rest, revision of the draft, operational field test, the last revision, dissemination and implementation of the product . The result of this research showed that the learning kit of integrated science based on local wisdom was feasible to increase the student’s environment care, science process skill and concept understanding. This feasibility supported by F-test that showed the mean difference of grades study results, enviromental care, science process skill and concept understanding between the experimental class and control class was significant with a significance level of 0.05.
