En los años cincuenta del siglo xx surgió un fenómeno a espaldas del régimen franquista que se dio con mayor incidencia en el área rural; viviendas, cuadras y locales de toda índole se utilizaron como improvisadas salas de televisión.
A los ojos de la dictadura, estas reuniones espontáneas para ver la televisión, carentes de ningún control, albergaban ciertos peligros puesto que en ellas pudieron surgir debates ideológicos críticos con el Régimen.
Ante la disyuntiva entre prohibirlas o permitirlas libremente, el franquismo optó por una tercera opción: controlarlas. Les puso un nombre y legisló un marco para regularlas: en definitiva, las absorbió para reconvertirlas en algo propio. Así surgió la Red Nacional de Teleclubs (RNT): una herramienta de control y propaganda. Pero estos clubs de televisión distorsionaron el origen del fenómeno y su imagen en la actualidad. De la revisión del concepto, su evolución y su implantación, en el caso de Asturias, nos ocupamos en este trabajo.

Abstract
In the 50´s a phenomenon emerged on the back of Francoism which was more developed in the countryside; living quarters, stables and all kinds of properties were used as casual television rooms. In the eyes of the dictatorship those spontaneous meetings beyond its control with the aim of watching television held some dangers since they could lead to ideological debates critical of the regime. Faced with the dilemma of prohibiting or permitting them freely, the Francoism chose a third option: to control them. It gave them a name and established a legal framework to regulate them. In conclusion, it absorbed them to convert them into something of its own. Thus appeared the National TV club network: a control and propaganda tool. But those TV clubs distorted the origin of the phenomenon and its image nowadays.This work is about the revision of the concept, its evolution and introduction in the concrete case of Asturias.
